9A - The Radio Klub Grada Zaboka (9A0Z) has been active as 9A2CHRIS
since early April to honour the memory of Kresimir "Chris" Kovarik,
9A5K (8 May 1974 - 27 February 2019). Activity will continue until

Croatian Amateur Radio Association (HRS) and Vice Chairman of the
IARU Region 1 HF Committee, Chris was the author of DXlog.net and a
competitor in WRTC 2006, 2014 and 2018. In 2019 he was inducted
into the CQ Contest Hall of Fame.
DL - DL25GDXF is the special callsign for the German DX Foundation to
celebrate its 25th anniversary from 1 May until 31 July. QSL via
DL6DH and LoTW. Contacts made between 1 May and 31 December with
DL25GDXF, DF0GDX (club callsign, active since 1 February 2021) and
GDXF members count towards the "25 Jahre GDXF" award - see

HB9 - Special callsign HB90BERO will celebrate the 90th anniversary of
the Beromuenster broadcasting station between 1 May and 31 July.
QSL via LoTW and Club Log's OQRS. The Beromuenster transmitter was
a medium wave AM broadcast station. Officially opened on 11 June
1931, it was shut down on 28 December 2008.
HL - Lee, HL1IWD will be active holiday style as HL1IWD/4 from the
Kogunsan Islands (AS-148) on 1-3 May. He will operate CW and some
FT8 on 40-20 metres. On his way back he will make a short stop over
on Anmyon Island (AS-080), and will try to be QRV as HL1IWD/3. QSLs

I - Look for IY0CG, IY0ORP, IY0TC, IY1MR, IY1SM, IY1SP and IY5PIS to be
active during the International Marconi Day (24 April). QSLs via
operator's instructions. These are stations affiliated to the
"Coordinamento Stazioni Marconiane Italiane", which gathers amateur
radio stations operating from historic Marconi sites located in

JD1_oga- Once again Harry, JG7PSJ will be active as JD1BMH from Chichijima
(AS-031), Ogasawara from 30 April to 7 May. He will operate CW, SSB

JW - LB1QI, LB2HG, LA7GIA, LA7QIA and LA8OM will be active as JW0W from
Prins Karls Forland (EU-063), Svalbard on 21-26 July, including
participation in the IOTA Contest. They will concentrate activity
on 40, 30 and 20 metres ("but also other bands if propagation
allows"), and outside the contest they will focus on North America

KL - The KL7RRC team currently includes Hal W8HC, Rob N7QT, Tim NL8F and
Yuri N3QQ. There is currently an open slot for a 5th operator;

interested. Now plans are to be QRV as KL7RCC from Kiska Island
(NA-070) on 7-12 July, and as KL7RCC/p from Adak Island (NA-039) on
30 June-3 July and again on 14-16 July. On Kiska the team plans to
have a minimum of two stations operating SSB, CW and FT8 on 40-6m
with amplifiers and a focus on the difficult trans-polar path to

LZ - Special callsign LZ70HSC will be in use throughout 2021 to
celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Radio Telegraphy High Speed

PY - PX521BR is the special callsign that Peter, PY5CC will use from 22
April to 21 May to commemorate the anniversary of the Portuguese
discovery of Brazil (22 April 1500). QSL via LoTW.
SM - Members of the Hisingens Radioklubb (SK6AW) will operate as SE400G
from 1 May to 31 July to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the
city of Gothenburg, which was granted its founding royal charter on
4 June 1621. QSL via LoTW, paper cards will not be available.
SP - Special callsigns 3Z1921PS, HF1921PS, SN1921PS, SO1921PS, SP1921PS
and SQ1921PS will be activated on 1-31 May to commemorate the
centenary of the third Silesian Uprising (2 May-21 July 1921). The
Silesian Uprisings ("Powstania Slaskie") were a series of three
armed conflicts in Upper Silesia from 1919 to 1921 in which Poles
and Polish Silesians sought to break away from Germany and join the
new Polish Republic, founded after World War I. QSL via operator's

UA - Special event station R75T will be active on 1-31 May to celebrate
the 75th anniversary of Radio Club Stavropol. QSL via RO7T.
UA - A very large number of Russian stations using special prefix RP76
(where the letter P stands for 'pobeda', i.e. 'victory') will be
active on 2-9 May to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the end of
