since 1 May, and will remain there until 10 May. He operates QRP on

C9 - Kiyo, JA7NQQ has been active as C83YT from Beira, Mozambique since
30 April, and will remain there until 14 May. This is a spare time
operation; so far he has been spotted on 30-10 metres FT8 and FT4.

CO - Several members of the Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba's La
Habana branch will be QRV on all bands and modes as T42ITU on 14-17
May. The activity commemorates the 157th anniversary of the signing
of the first International Telegraph Convention and the creation of
the International Telecommunication Union (17 May 1865). QSL via

DU - Irek, SP3SUX will be active as DV8/KH7EA from General Santos on
Mindanao Island (OC-130), Philippines on 14-27 May. He will operate
CW and SSB on 80-6 metres, with activity "mostly limited to daytime

F - TM35FIST is the special callsign for Jean, F6JOE to celebrate the
35th anniversary of the FISTS CW Club (International Morse Preser-
vation Society) on 2-15 May. The Club (https://fists.co.uk/) was
founded in 1987 by the late George Longden, G3ZQS, after recognis-
ing a need for a club in which veteran operators would help new-
comers and less-experienced operators learn and improve CW profi-
ciency.
F - TM37UFT is the special callsign for the 37th annual meeting of the
Union Francaise des Telegraphistes, the French CW Society. Look for

GI - The North West Group ARC (MN0NWG) will run special event station
GB0AEL between 13 and 30 May to commemorate the 90th anniversary of
Amelia Earhart's transatlantic flight. QSL via eQSL. On 20-21 May
1932, Earhart became the first woman to fly nonstop and alone
across the Atlantic, leaving Harbor Grace on Newfoundland, Canada,
and landing 15 hours later near Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
HB0 - Gerben, PG5M (http://dx.to/) will be active holiday style from
Liechtenstein on 8-15 May. Look for HB0/PG5M to operate CW on 40-10

HC - Members of the HCDX Group will be active as HD200BP on 1-31 May to
celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Pichincha (24 May
1822), which earned Ecuador its independence. Look for activity on

HH - Members of the Radio Club d'Haiti will be active as HH18MAI on 18-
23 May. The special callsign is for Flag Day, which commemorates

JT - Andrey, R9YU expects to be active soon - indicatively between 7 May
and 5 June - as JV0YU from the Bayan-Olgii Province of Mongolia

KH0 - Tom, KH0/KC0W is no longer QRV from his home on Saipan [425DXN
1607], but is again active on the amateur radio bands as KH0W/m.
"I'm now interested in a new challenge, mobile operating", he says.
He will operate mainly CW, with sporadic SSB QSOs in contests. He
also plans to be active from the American Memorial Park for POTA
enthusiasts, and from Mount Tapochau for SOTA. QSL direct to KC0W

SP - Special callsigns 3Z75ZOT, HF75ZOT, SN75ZOT, SO75ZOT, SP75ZOT and
SQ75ZOT (from Wolin Island, EU-132) will be activated between 1 May
and 30 August to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Polish Ama-
teur Radio Union's West Pomeranian Regional Branch (Zachodniopomor-

V4 - Dick, K2KA will be active holiday style as V4/K2KA from St. Kitts

VE - Canada is an independent country, but the British monarch remains
the nation's head of state. Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of
Queen Elizabeth II, Canadian radio amateurs are permitted to re-
place their normal prefix from 15 May to 14 July: VA stations can
use VG, VE stations can use VX, VO stations can use XJ, and VY sta-
tions can use XK.
VE - Also celebrating the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen
Elizabeth II is Ron, VA3CX, who will be using special callsign
VB3Q70 between 1 May and 30 June. QSL via home call.
VK_ant - Warren, VK7WN is based at Australia's Casey Research Station,
Antarctica over the austral winter season. "When weather and spare
time allow", he says, "I will get an antenna up, hopefully soon".
He will be QRV as VK0WN; "LoTW registration underway, as are QSL
cards".
W - Look for W1UAA (SSB and CW) and W3UA (digital modes) to be active
from Nantucket Island (NA-046) on 7-8 May for the New England QSO
Party (https://neqp.org/). Other Nantucketers expected to be QRV
