4X - The Israel Amateur Radio Club will be running four special event stations, celebrating the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah and Christmas. A6 - A60QATAR is the special callsign for the Emirates Amateur Radio Society to take part in the celebrations of Qatar National Day on 18-22 December. QSL via EA7FTR. HZ - HZ20SAT is a special callsign for the Saudi Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launch of the Saudi satellite SO-50 (20 December 2002). Look for activity on SO-50 on 11-20 December; see qrz.com for more information.

OH - Once again Santa Radio, OF9X (Old Father Nine Xmas) will be active on 16-31 December on all amateur radio bands CW, SSB and digital modes. QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via OH2BH.
"For this troubled year Santa has established a special theme to focus the region that will be suffering in this Christmas most. Santa's puzzle is dedicated to those suffering children: xxAxA xxxAIxI (three plus four letters).
In this puzzle the letters I and A are presented on multiple times while the other 7 single letters are released as part of the report received from OF9X, such as 599RA. The first letter is from the operator name, and the second is one of the seven different puzzle letters.

S5 - Special event station S523PMC is active until 8 January to promote the PMC Contest, sponsored by the Radio Club Slovenj Gradec (S59DCD). All QSOs will be confirmed via the bureau. The International Association of Peace Messenger Cities was established in 1988 to recognize and encourage the role and responsibility cities have in creating a culture of peace. The PMC Contest, promoting contacts between stations located in the Peace Messenger Cities and the rest of the world, will be held on 7-8 January (complete information on http://www.s59dcd.si/).
TI - Joe, VE3BW will be active as TI7/VE3BW from Guayabo de Bagaces, Costa Rica from 23 December to 3 January. He will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on 160-6 metres. QSL via VE3BW and LoTW.
