3Y0J ---> DX World's dedicated page, featuring the latest official information gathered from the media officer (N2AJ), the pilot stations and the team, can be found on https://www.dx-world.net/3y0j-bouvet-2023/.
The team flew from the UK to the Falkland Islands on 12 January, and now expects to set sail for Bouvet from Port Stanley on 14 January. The voyage to the island could take 11-14 days, depending on weather and seas, so they should arrive sometime between 25 and 28 January. "Please allow us to spend a few days to go onshore and set up camp", LA7GIA says. "In worst case we might have to wait one week before we attempt to go onshore". At the moment operations might start sometime between 27 January and 4 February, with an anticipated stay on the island of three weeks. It is possible to track the team's progress on https://share.garmin.com/3y0j .
